Paul Adom-Otchere, the former Board Chairman of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), has been released from the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s (OSP) custody after meeting revised bail conditions. Adom-Otchere was released on Friday, August 1, 2025, in the company of former Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame and his lawyers.
The OSP had initially required Adom-Otchere to provide two landed properties registered in his name, but he informed them he doesn’t own any landed property in Ghana. Revised bail conditions were negotiated, and the Jospong Group of Companies stood as surety.
After his release, Adom-Otchere was recalled to the OSP office for administrative procedures, according to his lawyer Apreku Agyepong.
The OSP’s investigation into the revenue assurance contract between GACL and a private firm, EvaTex Logistics Limited, is ongoing. Adom-Otchere is facing charges in connection with the contract, which the OSP is probing for potential procurement breaches. Notably, GACL has formally terminated its Revenue Assurance Audit agreement with Evatex Logistics Limited, indicating no payments were made under the contract.
