The deceased individuals were theidentified as the Obrafor of Sowutuom and the son of the local chief. Several others were injured, with some reports indicating that armed men stormed the area, firing shots and forcing residents to flee.
The Accra Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident and deployed additional personnel to restore calm in the affected communities.
Intelligence-led operations are ongoing to track and arrest those involved in the violence.
Many shops in Sowutuom remained closed on Sunday, with residents expressing fear that the clashes could reignite. Community leaders are calling for calm to prevent further bloodshed.
